Individualisierung in der Betrieblichen Gesundheitsförderung

 

 

 

Im Rahmen meiner Masterarbeit durfte ich das Unternehmen MP2 IT-Solutions sowie

fit@MP2, deren gesundheitsförderliches Programm für mehr Wohlbefinden am Arbeitsplatz analysieren.

 

Anbei der Abstract:

 

Workplace health promotion is well researched, which is why future trends are of significant interest. The aim of this research is to determine the extent to which new aspects can be derived from workplace health management and workplace health promotion by focusing on the individual needs of a person. Major aspects of the research are the target group, criteria for workplace health promotion measures, as well as the added value and limitations of an individualized approach.

 

In order to answer the research topic, a literature review was written, which was complemented by a method of qualitative social research. For this purpose, a workplace health promotion certified midsized IT company was researched for the case study. Following a document analysis, the entire workplace health promotion measures were analyzed and characterized with individualization.

 

As a result, it can be determined that the focus on individualization in the area of workplace health promotion is hardly addressed in the literature as well as in practice and therefore a research gap has been identified.

 

 

After the document analysis in cooperation with the certified company, it was recognized that, in addition to a standardized approach, individualization tendencies nevertheless predominate in many areas of workplace health promotion, which entail a health-promoting approach for employees. The highest level of individualization can be perceived in ergonomics, the lowest average value in nutrition. Through a diverse implementation of workplace health promotion with a high individualization level, different interests and needs of employees can be taken into account, the participation of employees can be increased and a resource-saving implementation with the involvement of employees can be achieved.
